Responsibilities and functions of National Skill Development Authority
Formulating national skills development policies, strategies and action plans;
Coordinating, monitoring and evaluating activities related to the formulation and implementation of performance indicators, uniform training curricula for public and private training institutions with a view to producing skilled human resources for domestic and international labor markets;
Publish information on forecasting labor market needs of national and international labor markets and establish sector-specific skills databases;
Recognition of prior professional experience
To monitor and coordinate all projects and programs related to skill development;
Adoption of training quality improvement, certification and mutual recognition measures;
Formation of industrial skill councils and providing necessary support;
strengthening industrial integration;
To undertake any activity at the discretion of the Authority with a view to creating skilled human resources; And
To perform any other duties as directed by the Government or Governing Board.
